Glory of God descended from majestic heavens high

Wilderness land of Horeb, on the crest of Sinai

Out of the midst of fire; darkened clouds and thickened smoke

The voice of almighty God to the Israelites spoke

Toward the base of the mount, Israelites held in fear

Implored the prophet, Moses to ascend the mount and hear

The law of Christian doctrine, even the commandments – ten

Judgments and ordinances for Moses to teach all men

God of faith to our fathers, carried with a mighty hand

All the nation of Israel, to Canaan, the promised land

The sovereign grace of our Lord, in Him the loved ones glory

God is supremely righteous, Spirit is ever holy
