Perfectam Caritatem (My Perfect Love)

My Lord loves me ever true
Beyond what I can say, think, or do
Encompassed in time I’m sure to wane
Yet my Redeemer remains the same
On His mercy, I solely rely
Enduring forever by and by
Left to myself I’d be truly lost
He paid my way; an innumerable cost
His light shines beyond the darkest shadow
His ways, I strive to follow
Suffer affliction, suffer shame
Gladly I will glorify His holy name

Holy Father in Heaven
Please, look upon us
Lost souls cast deep shadows upon the earth
True light seems to be fading
Flickering in the chasmic depths of our iniquity
Oh Lord, remember us with mercy and compassion
That we may live and not die
Our faith rests solely in Your Blessed Son
Our Lord and our Saviour, Jesus Christ

“What I don’t say is that which I do.”
A twisted standard that’s hanging you
“Stand for nothing and for all I’ll fall.”
An untold strait in which you bawl
The imminent threat always advancing
Falling back your singing and dancing
A nebulous image amid a storm
Pasquinade of life to perform

Far away forever stands

Still, my mind

Twice to witness

Playful shadows within the distance

Flourishing, abounding

Timeless even full

Love cascades stay gently falling

Immersed in The Truth

Descending in fullness

All-Knowing a warm embrace

Like none other

On earth, in Heaven

The Messiah

Our Lord and Master reigns above

God sent His Spirit in the form of a dove

On Him to rest virtue and might

No thought, nor deed escapes his sight

The prophet John did baptize

In the Jordan for all eyes

To look upon His glorious face

Freed from death a fallen race

Jesus Christ went on to perform

A perfect work, thus we adorn

Robes of pure righteousness

His blessed name we shall confess

To all the earth by day and night

In God’s mercy, we delight

Not Our Ways

Notice the sky behold God’s might

A brilliant star traverses the night

Fading away to who knows where

Feeble minds prompt a stare

Mark the clouds just passing time

Wind and rain are past sublime

Who can fathom the Spirit of You?

All would cease if You withdrew

God’s ways no one can know

Except that which He’s pleased to show

It Is the Lord

I’m not tough, rather soft as a mallow
Sans God’s Spirit I’m slight and shallow
More of the Lord and less of me
Faithful hopes in the glory to be
Finished alone by God’s blessed Son
In whom I trust the victory’s won
Look to Christ and hold Jesus near
In His shadow, there is no fear

Truth So Cold

Easy getting lost

All is vanity

Ever closing in

Is there no amnesty

Do what I say

And I’ll make you pay

Your world is mine

Blood like wine

Flowing from the cup

Drowning the earth

Drenched in pure misery

Praise the Spirit for the mystery

The fact untold

God of glory

The Blessed Son

One and Only

Died for me on a tree

Thus, set me free

Newfound Favor

If it’s true, I’ll surely lie

Feigning tears, one can’t deny

If I’m guilty I’ll plead, not

Claiming virtue, I have, not

When duly charged I’ll fitly bray

Fifth Amendment will be my stay

When caught I will stand

Turn and walk with a wave of the hand

Theatrical play Greek tetralogy

Change of a name, a whole new face

Take the stage

Newfound grace

Belief Truly Matters

Some may think this is funny

Grant me power, offer me money

Surely, you’re wise to trust in me

I know the cry, I hold the key

Form the blueprint, a scheme for life

Selfless and true I’ll live for you

The robe of honor, I’ll adorn

No malice, gossip, sloth, or scorn

Children safe in the Idyll state

Morals, ethics, I’ll legislate

No place for fraud or even greed

Give of ourselves to those in need

End of all war and destruction

Join with me; heed the instruction

Skillful narratives heard before

A history aptly called ‘Folklore.’
