The road to glory paved by Mr. T., et al.? Scripture puts no such emphasis on any created being. Strange, therefore, for “Christians” to behave as though trust in Master T. equals faith in God.
Scripture says there is no more Jew nor Gentile (Galatians 3:28). And Jesus Christ died for people that span the globe (John 11:51-52). However, certain “Christians” aver Mr. T. is God’s chosen ruler. If so, then Americans are God’s chosen people. Yet the 26 June 2015 Supreme Court ruling and Public Law 117-228 of 13 December 2022 militate against Leviticus 20:13 and Romans 1:27. Indeed, in 2016, Mr. T stated he was fine with the Supreme Court’s humorless 2015 decision.
Hebrews 11:13 describes God’s elect as “strangers and pilgrims on the earth.” Mass confusion persists; however, with “Christians” behaving as rank-and-file nationalists. Events detailing the capture of Canaan (as told in Joshua) relate to the singular foundation that started in Genesis and ended in Revelation. Leviticus 26:41 provides insight into an identifiable Christian’s sentiment. Contrarywise, an open lack of humility and a surplus of closet dread animate self-styled Christians exercising, rather than exorcising, regional passions.
Retrograde activities insinuate one is cynical about moving forward with acceptance of God’s stated, intended purpose. Indeed, so-called believers represent attenuated, even spurious faith. Conjuring the musical sign ‘dal segno’ then dancing under fear of existing in a condemned world rife with condemned people subject to God’s wrath. Self-proclaimed disciples betraying a state of oblivion and impoverishment. And a longing for a dark age. Alas, connoting stasis, even demise.
Jeremiah 30:11-13
For I am with thee, sayeth the Lord, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
For thus saith the Lord, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous.
There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up; thou hast no healing medicines.
