Where Truth Is Found

Matthew 4:17

From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

If certainty prevailed in adored news channels, newsreaders would invariably start with the Gospel of Jesus Christ recorded in Scripture. However, manufactured news outlets such as CBS, NBC and others in the same bracket diverge from God’s word in favor of man’s. As yet, top rated news channels will not provide a scriptural analysis of world events and circumstances.

Tellavisionaries delight in the man’s word. Many perceive Tellavision as a magnet which pulls on truth; gathers it from the four-corners of the globe then filters it through the lens of a flat screen. Merely by depressing a button, one may siphon pasteurized knowledge for roughly $60 a month.

Top rated news broadcasts render the view that the prevailing plague is just another sudden, tragic, unsystematic event in the history of humanity. From this rather rangy standpoint, unrestrained speculation ensues as we turn immediately to man himself as inflated bureaucracies, and fabricated government organizations for mitigation.

The answer remains and always has in the Word of God. All of humanity’s ills and sufferings are because of rebellion against the Lord of all creation. Man looks to and glories in himself rather than the Lord. The correct approach to understanding humankind and the world must begin with Scripture. For if one is wrong in one’s approach, then one will go wrong everywhere else.

Ephesians 5:6

Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

This is the message all need to hear. Far be it, however, from well thought of news providers to utter these solemn words found in Scripture, the words of our Lord, Jesus Christ.

John 3:36

He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
