Our Lord and Master reigns above
God sent His Spirit as a dove
On Him to rest virtue and might
No thought, nor deed escapes his sight
The prophet John baptized
In the Jordan for all eyes ,
To look upon His glorious face
Freed from death a fallen race
Jesus Christ performed
A perfect work, thus we adorn
Robes of pure righteousness
His blessed name we shall confess
To all the earth by day and night
