Estimates disclose that there are 260 million adults (including 160 million men) in American society. Bureaucrats aside, there are 560 public officials comprising the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the federal government. And the masses seem static while the central authority traduces the revered Constitution of the United States.
So many possessed by so few. Published in 1788, The Federalist (penned by Alexander Hamilton, James Madison, and John Jay) and the Constitution of the United States maintain that such a “state” is contrary to the guiding principles and spirit of republicanism set forth in 1776 and ratified in 1789. The former emphasizes, while the latter implies that the public must exercise diligence regarding politics for prosperity’s sake.
Fast forward to 2025, and in difficult times, simple society lays blame on the president (a stance that goes a long way in answering the citizenry’s plight, cultivating civilian immunity out of relaxation). A wayward perspective that admits a dictatorship, signifying that the legislative and judicial branches must defer to the executive branch. Alas, the principle of checks and balances no longer pervades the view; it is long forgotten. Like leaders, like followers; only leaders abandoned counterbalancing consciously and followers, unconsciously.
State warfare outside the limits of the Constitution and conspicuous deficit spending ‘constitute’ red flags that require communal analysis. The Patriot Act, Freedom Act plus the Corona and wayfarer crusades of 2020-2025 reveal public office holders inimical to republicanism, even Protestantism.
Supplied with ample warnings that certain events/people are not what they appear; society opts to wallow in a tell-a-vision and cell-u-liar phone wonderland.
The U.S. Constitution is charming if you don’t have to defend it. Perhaps the supreme law of the United States of America isn’t all that, given the lackluster response of the citizenry towards their leaders who hold it in contempt (all are of the same miserable spirit).
Nay, 45\47 isn’t the chief problem. It is the public’s lack of wherewithal; a point the leadership delights in making. Hence the scandalous Public Law 107-56, the analogous Public Law 114-23 and the egregious Public Law 119-21. The difference marked today is transparency. These naked assaults on one’s sensibilities drive materialists deeper into denial and serve as apt reminders of human depravity.
Alas, inhabitants peering outside for a threat, oblivious to those within owing to propaganda and believism. Nationals wielding pens rather than foreigners brandishing swords.
Human beings are incompetent regarding governance. Only liars and ignoramuses propound earthly prosperity. Those who abjure Christian doctrine and don’t claim national allegiance betray a faith in humanity while expressing resentment towards certain leaders and circumstances. The inference is that they feel betrayed.
Alas, terminal failure instigates leaders (they play to lose) and terminal faith spurs followers. All are of the same miserable spirit.
