The Governess of the United States

On worldly terms, one must look towards co-residents for peace versus an elected official. Devotees, therefore, eulogizing beloved political figures amounts to spiritual worship (only the people are secular). Sure, whenever the central authority thunders, the preponderance gives ground, rendering obeisance. Nay, the advance bold rhetoric of subjects comes to naught—for truth is invulnerable.

Locals harp about what political officers should do, however, plot nary a trace themselves. Specious debt, unsound immigration, industrial slaughter, yet no rational appeal by the vast majority towards solons concerning these reverse policies. Work and relaxation, no sincere care other than their set microcosm of life; perfect portrayals of incapacity, mendacity, faithlessness, and selfishness. “Let rulers do what they will so long as I can eat, drink, and unlax inside my puny orb.” Perceptions of the outside world transpire marvelously through mass media platforms, substitutes for personal analysis, witch yields all things counterfeit. Partake and simulation thus becomes central, with actuality detracted from.

Hell-bent on fostering perversion, normalities continue to prevaricate, stall for time, elide passions involving race, gender, sexuality, and drugs. Heroic candidates may even venture to pull the voter’s head out of the voter’s own ass; if confirmed, of course. And why not? Politicians—cast as Olympians—soapbox to do everything else in place of the public! Viewing mass balminess as a blessing rather than a burden, misleaders have even contrived network censorship.

Fancy, menfolk, cowering at the specter of one electoral candidate, and tugging on the apron strings of a consort (an express targe) for assurance. Indeed, the public is desolate. To the generality, freedom is whatever the governing body occasions to render.
