Gross investment in humankind demands casting embarrassing truths into oblivion; intuitive self-preservation dictates willful ignorance, especially when disturbed by precise, inevitable shocks. Inhabitants, young and old, affirm this, as they equate tuning into daily mainstream media broadcasts, for example, with fulfillment of their civic responsibilities (none dare call it passive). We cannot attribute the formation of the United States to today’s populace, rather America’s destruction.
