Death becomes all organisms to include civilizations—aggregates of human beings. People once said “the sun never sets on the British empire” which controlled protectorates, colonies et cetera around the globe. In 1913 Britain held sway over 23% of the world’s population and 24% of the global land mass. Sixty short years later, the nation of England itself deferred to the European Union. Since exiting the EU in 2020, party leaders have contentions over rejoining the EU. Britain’s decline stemmed from increased trade competition amid emerging industrial powers mingled with subordinate societies seizing independence instigated by world wars I and II. Overall, it was a death marked by extreme conflict; typical of great nations.
History suggests the life span of eminent cultures is two-hundred and fifty years. Using this metric, the United States should implode by 2026. This prospect is attractive without, yet within is unpopular. To embrace history’s linear diagnosis is to accept defeat. “Not so,” replies the die-hard modern replica of an American patriot. Alas, we are not what we used to be (evinced by America’s haggard idol). Stout donors maintain a permanent hold on the nation. Not so for national idols, however, discarded every four years (eight year streaks for certain marks).
A board of directors oversees the upheavals of the concern that is Usonia. Shadow directors (or presidents) play prominent roles, yet we look towards “the board” for constancy; if not, we take a fundamental misstep. The instigators of the campaign of 1775 were conversant with the lifecycle regarding civilizations; and their successors have remained aware of the times, unlike the doting public.
“Visible principles over invisible purposes.” Divide the public with a two-party system; periodically give each faction an icon to behold—a vision of the American Daydream. Thus, keep the populace divided and hopeful. Having detached the people of the land (preferring darker shades) aided by zealous euros, we turn to the supreme interest. While a juvenile, commit manual crimes on hapless foreigners. When mature, commit academic crimes against star-crossed nationals. Once senescence takes hold, contract with the heir (born in 1949) coordinating a gradual transition, careful not to alert the hoi polloi prematurely. To close, the fading king and budding heir may provide an apt diversion; direct a proxy war and while the masses engage in their favorite pastime, conferment may begin in peace.
